John Gronlund, Treasurer

John Gronlund was born and raised in Seattle, where he attended Ballard High. He served a stint in the U.S. Marine Corps a the end of WWII then received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the UofW in 1950. He majored in accounting, minored in law.

Mr. Gronlund was employed two construction companies both as supervision and as an administrator. He owned and operated a construction management consulting firm from 1969 until his retirement in 1995. This firm worked with Surety Companies and lawyers resolving completion of distressed construction projects of all kinds and litigation involving construction related disputes.

John Gronlund was married in 1948 to his Lady Aase until her passing away in 2005. He has a son and daughter and two grand daughters.

Mr. Gronlund was a Past Potentate of Nile Shrine Center, Past Master of Lakeside Lodge 258, a member of Grand Lodge Finance Committee, Director and Treasurer on the Washington DeMolay Foundation, past President and Director of several Shrine units and clubs and Deacon of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kirkland. He is also a depositor at Landmark on the Sound.
