BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Alvin W. Jorgensen Alvin W. Jorgensen is a retired Air Force Officer, who has successfully owned and operated a gallery in Auburn, Washington, and subsequently worked as a Flight Training Instructor at the Boeing Flight Training Center in Tukwilla, Washington. He has extensive service as a non-profit board member, having served on boards at the national, state and local levels. Mr. Jorgensen is a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Business Administration. He holds two Masters Degrees, one in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle University, and another in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College. Mr. Jorgensen’s Air Force career spanned nearly 27 years, during which he served as a commander at the Flight, Squadron, Wing and Air Division levels. Returning the area where he grew up, he opened a gallery and custom framing business with his wife and daughter. Once the business was successfully established he returned to a profession for which he has a great passion, flight training. He has served on the Board of Trustees for Landmark on the Sound since 2001. During this period he was elected and served as Grand Master of Masons for the State of Washington in 2005 and 2006. The Sponsorship of Landmark on the Sound by the Masons of Washington is one of the constants, which he believes will enable the vision for the beautiful campus to be achieved. |
