John Lunt
John Lunt’s academic background includes a BA in Chemistry from the University of Washington, an MPA in Public Administration from Auburn University, and an MS in International Relations from Auburn University.
He is a retired (28 years) USAF Colonel. His military experience included: Command Pilot/Instructor, Pilot with 300+ combat missions, Commander Field Maintenance Squadron, Commander Tactical Flying Squadron,
Commander Flying Combat Crew Training Squadron, Wing Director of Operations, Commander Flying Group, Commander Combat Support Group, Wing Commander and Director of Operations Major Air Command.
His military professional education includes: Air Command & Staff College, Naval War College, Industrial College of the Armed Forces and Air War College.
John was Employed as Financial Advisor/Edward Jones 17 years.
His extensive community involvement includes: Chelan/Douglas County United Way Board of Trustees, Chairman (Emeritus) of Central Washington Hospital Foundation, Member on the Board of Trustees for Central Washington Hospital and Chairman of Wenatchee Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees.
His Masonic Involvement includes: Membership in 4 blue lodges; Royal Arch, Council, Commandry and Shrine. He was also President of the Chelan Valley Shrine Club, Scottish Rite-33rd degree, Personal
Representative of Sovereign Grand Inspector General, Orient of Washington.
Mr. Lunt’s Masonic Service includes: Chairman Of the Board of Trustees Wenatchee Masonic Center, Member of Board of Directors of Rite Care-Washington Foundation for Childhood Language Disorders and Member of the Board of Trustees of The Masonic Retirement Center.
John has been married to his wife Karen for 47 years They have four daughters.
